What's New at O'Neil

Website Unified Login now available


We are continuing work to make our website simple to navigate and easy to use.  The latest change comes in the form of a unified login for the website and for the User Forum.  By tying the two products together, we can provide website content specifically for registered users and give you access to the forum.  We are hoping to add a third product offering in the coming months, which will also benefit from the unified login.

2010 Strategic Partner Conference Dates - April 21 to April 23


One of the most fun things we get to do every 18 months at O'Neil Software, is to organize and attend our Strategic Partner Conference. The planning takes some effort but it is definitely worth the effort as we create a unique industry networking experience.
We do this because we recognized that many "user conferences" are nothing more than training classes or thinly veiled sales pitches for products. The O'Neil User Group (known as our Strategic Partners) told us that they wanted... no, expected more.

Motorola/O'Neil Customer Loyalty Promotion now available in Europe


Back in March I was able to announce the Motorola and O’Neil Software Customer Loyalty Program, which had been in the negotiation stage for quite some time. The Nation Business - August 17, 2009 -- Brambles (Thailand), a provider of physical and digital document-management outsourcing services under the Recall trademark, expects 16-per-cent growth in revenue in fiscal 2009 ending next June 30, due to rising demand for its services. Version 4.0 Upgrade Notes


As we continue to develop and test RS-SQL version 4.0, I have previously been able to share some technical information about support for the underlying operating systems and SQL Server versions. In this months question to our support team, we look at a question regarding Highwater Storage. Why not test your knowledge by seeing if you know the answer?

Question: Does O’Neil automatically calculate a moving minimum number of boxes for storage in the system? Suppose High Water is turned on… If 150 boxes are placed in storage and 30 are removed for access – all in one month, is the customer charged for 150 boxes of storage for that month – or 120 boxes? And if another customer placed 150 boxes in storage but permanently removed 10 boxes the next month, would the customer be charged for 150 boxes or for 140 boxes in storage?
