Signature Capture is available when using RSMobile. This feature lets your customer sign their name, using a stylus on the screen of your RSMobile scanner. When a signature is captured, it is stored within RSMobile, printed on receipts, uploaded to RS-SQL with its session as appropriate, stored in the database and is viewable from within RS-SQL. Use of the signature capture feature is optional. In addition to a signature image, the signature date/time is also captured, as well as the User ID of the RSMobile user. The type of activity being signed for, such as delivery or pickup, is also indicated. An optional comment can be entered along with the signature. Signature capture is also available when validating a pickup, delivery, access, receive, or destruction.
