IRVINE, CALIFORNIA - - It certainly wasn’t anticipated, but it was definitely cause for celebration when O’Neil Software was recently awarded the coveted 2005 Symbol Technologies Enterprise Mobility Solutions Award. This high-profile, noteworthy honor recognizes Symbol partners for their unique and powerful end-to-end mobility implementations (large or small), that have helped their customers develop new, competitive advantages; create higher-value products and services; boost productivity, operational efficiency and profitability; and enhance business velocity.

Symbol partners, who have used Symbol products to help their customers leverage the advantages of enterprise mobility, were encouraged to nominate their solutions for the award. Winners were announced at the Symbol Global Partner Conference’s gala event on October 19th in Grapevine, Texas, an annual gathering of key executives from the market’s most successful companies.

The distinguished panel of independent industry judges included a representative from Microsoft® and editors from leading industry publications such as Business Solutions, VAR Business and Vertical Systems Reseller. Judges were looking for innovative, forward-thinking and groundbreaking solutions, utilizing Symbol products, that solve customer’s mission-critical business challenges by capturing information; moving it to the point where it has the greatest impact (in this particular case—record center operations); managing it with efficiency and security all in real time.
