Topic Title: O’Neil Connector & RMBridge Revealed

Summary: You have probably heard something about the O’Neil Connector-Cloud/RMBridge and are interested in learning more about it. How does it work? What is involved? Is it secure? Does this replace FTP file transfers or RSWeb.NET? Does it cost anything?

The purpose of this presentation is to demonstrate the capability and the workflow for connecting file rooms to record centers via RMBridge. During this session, Gary along with Mike Jacobs of O’Neil Software and James Hill of The Hill Company will explain the configuration and set-up process required for a file room, as well as the record center’s role in making this happen. They will then discuss the benefits, advantages and gains in efficiency by tracking files and containers in real-time via a managed and structured workflow available both from the file room and RMBridge.

Biography: James Hill is the Managing Director of The Hill Company Limited. He has over 20 years of experience within the records management industry.

James implemented O’Neil’s RS-SQL in 1996, making his company the second records center in Europe to do so. Once introduced, he developed itemized pick-up, which is now a feature of the RS-SQL system. James has used subsequent upgrades of the system ever since. In 2004, The Hill Company was the first completely wireless RSMobile user in Europe and in 2007, was the first in the world to implement the use of Motorola MC9094 scanners with SIM card technology. Once again in 2011, they are the first adopters of the O’Neil Connector-Cloud/RMBridge. James continues to work alongside O’Neil, to ensure that he has the latest technology available to him.
