Topic Title: Facility Management Consulting

Summary: My goal will be to explain the opportunities in consulting, with companies that want to manage their own record centers. I will give 2 examples. One example will be how our operation took over the Shell Oil Record Center in Houston. The 2nd example will be my on-going consulting engagement with St.Elizabeth Medical Center in Northern KY. I will share with the audience how I made the connection with each company and the people who made the decisions. I will also briefly explain the outline of taking on a facility management or consulting engagement. Each example will show how a records management system reduces expense, improves efficiency and compliance. Of course, the second one includes using the O'Neil Software system.

Biography: Jay Geisler is President/CEO of Data Vault Solutions, LLC (DVS) in Erlanger, KY. DVS has operations in Erlanger, KY (Cincinnati, OH market) and Lafayette, Louisiana. Jay started in the records management business as a General Manager for Iron Mountain in the Houston and Cincinnati markets from 1997 – 2003. He was involved in the Pierce Leahy acquisition, negotiated and implemented many large customer contracts, and managed an operation staff that moved in over 2 million new boxes in 3 years. He has also secured new revenues through facility management and consulting projects for customers, who manage their own record centers. In 2005, he purchased a small records storage business in Northern KY, which grew quickly and then purchased another records storage business in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2008. Both businesses have grown by 40-60% per year with his leadership team.
