Job Title: Senior Software Trainer

Job Description: My role as trainer for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region means that I get to visit all the new customers in the region (which, yes, does entail a lot of travelling) as well as many of our existing customers who have identified needs for additional or refresher training. I also get involved with some technical support and sales.

Favorite part of working for O’Neil: I find it great to be part of a small team who all provide me with the support that is sometimes needed when I am on-site at a customer. However, the aspect of the job that gives me the most satisfaction is training a new customer and then seeing that business develop and become successful over the following months and years. It is nice to know that I now have people, that I consider to be friends, all over the EMEA region in addition to my colleagues in the other O’Neil offices world-wide.

Favorite Feature in the software: Utilising the wireless and GPRS capabilities within RS-Mobile. The additional functionality that becomes available makes for a more efficient operation and also enables our customers to present a more professional image to their own clients.

Years with O’Neil: Almost 8 years now.

What do you like to do when not at work? I like to spend time with my children and (seemingly rapidly increasing number) grandchildren. I also have an interest in photography and run fund-raising quizzes by setting the questions and acting as quizmaster.
